What enrollment help includes
A person, not a portal. We work through it with you.
- The full Medi-Cal application, completed together, start to finish
- Renewal and redetermination paperwork, so coverage does not lapse
- A plain-language answer on what documents you need, before you gather them
- Enrollment for newborns and children, even when parents are not eligible
- Following up on a submitted application when you have heard nothing
- A sliding-fee visit in the meantime, because care should not wait on paperwork
How it works
Three steps, and none of them are hard.
Come in with what you have
Call, chat, or stop at the front desk of any center. No perfect paperwork required: bring what you have, and we tell you exactly what else is needed.
We complete it together
Our team sits with you and works through the application or renewal, in plain language, question by question, until it is submitted.
We follow through
You leave knowing what happens next. If anything comes back from the county, we help you answer it, and your first visit can be on the books before the card arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else? Call us, day or night.
Does the enrollment help cost anything?
No. Helping our community get covered is part of what a community health center is for. It is free whether or not you end up qualifying.
What documents do I need to apply?
Typically proof of income, identification, and where you live, but the exact list depends on your household. Bring what you have and we will tell you exactly what is missing, no wasted trips.
I got a renewal packet or lost my coverage. Can you help with that too?
Yes. Renewals and getting cancelled coverage back are some of the most common things we help with. Bring the letter you received and we take it from there.
I am worried about my immigration situation. Should I still come in?
Yes. California has opened Medi-Cal to many people regardless of immigration status, and our team goes over your specific situation privately. Everyone is welcome here, and if Medi-Cal is not an option, the sliding-fee discount still makes care affordable.
What if it turns out I do not qualify?
Then you will know for sure, and you still have options: our sliding-fee scale adjusts the cost of care to your income, and we help you look at whatever coverage does fit your situation.
Can I be seen before my Medi-Cal is approved?
Yes. You can book a sliding-fee visit right away; nobody is turned away for inability to pay. When your coverage comes through, it takes over from there.
Your family deserves good care, close to home.
Request an appointment or check your coverage. Medi-Cal and most plans accepted, and nobody is turned away for inability to pay.
