Who behavioral health is for

For anyone whose inner weather has gotten heavy, and for the families carrying it with them. No referral needed, no diagnosis required to walk in the door. This is for you if:

  • Depression, anxiety, or stress is taking more of your days than it should
  • Your child or teen is struggling with mood, worry, or behavior
  • Your family needs a neutral room and a skilled guide to work things through
  • You want to talk to someone about medication, or about avoiding it
  • Substance use has become part of the picture, for you or someone you love, and you want honest help

What behavioral health includes

Four kinds of care, one coordinated team.

  • Individual counseling and therapy
  • Psychological evaluation and testing-informed care
  • Psychiatry for medication evaluation and management
  • Family counseling, together in one room
  • Support for children and teens, coordinated with our pediatricians
  • Care coordination with your primary care provider, one record, one team
  • Guidance toward the right resources when substance use is part of the picture

How starting works

Gentle by design.

1

Reach out however feels easiest

The mental health door on this site, the chat, or the main line. Tell us as little or as much as you want; scheduling does not require your story.

2

A first conversation

Your first appointment is about being heard: what is going on, what you want to change, and what kind of support fits. From there you and your clinician choose the path.

3

Care that adjusts

Therapy, psychiatry, family sessions, or a mix. Your plan is reviewed with you and changes as you do.

We accept Medi-Cal, Medicare, and most plans

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else? Call us, day or night.

Do I need a referral or a diagnosis first?

No. You can reach out directly, and the first conversation is where we figure out together what would help.

Do you see children and teens?

Yes. Kids and teens are seen by clinicians comfortable with young people, coordinated with our pediatric team, and family counseling is available when it helps the whole household.

Does Medi-Cal cover mental health care?

Yes, Medi-Cal includes mental health benefits, and it is the coverage we serve most. We confirm your specific benefits for free before your visit.

What if I am in crisis right now?

Please do not wait for an appointment. Call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, any time. If you or someone with you is in immediate danger, call 911. When you are safe, we are here to build the ongoing support.
